The Sheraton Stockholm Hotel & Towers is housed in a modern, purpose-built red brick building at the water's edge, which conveys the impression of a grain warehouse, but fits in well with its surroundings. The spacious lobby features marble floors, pale coloured decor and brass fittings. There is a generous seating area by the bar with a number of sofas. The 462 large guest are well maintained and decorated to a high standard in pastel colours. They are equipped with modern facilities, as are the en suite bathrooms. The hotel offers a choice of restaurants. The elegant main gourmet restaurant serves Swedish and international cuisine. The Lobby Lounge offers a more informal setting for breakfast in the mornings and a traditional smorgasbord in the evenings. There is also a German bierstube, called "Die Ecke," with traditional wooden furnishings, that serves Bravarian food and Swedish and German beer.
