The Scandic Ariadne Hotel is housed in a stunning 17-storey building, comprising two towers connected by a spacious atrium, set on an urban penninsula. The lobby is housed in the atrium and is very large, its interior making extensive use of glass, metal and marble in a grey/ blue tone. There are sittings areas for seating and an adjacent bar. All 283 guest rooms are good sized, well appointed and decorated in earthy, tasteful colours, with an excellent view of either the sea or the city. The white tiled en suite bathrooms are modern, well equipped and in very good condition. The hotel's "Mistral" restaurant is decorated in a rustic style with a soft and homely atmosphere. It serves classic Swedish dinners and à la carte with international style. A fabulous breakfast buffet is also offered here every morning. Guests can also enjoy a drink and stunning views in the Skybar on the 17th floor.
