The hotel is located approximately 8 minutes south of central Stockholm by subway, next to the new Globe Arena. There is a direct road leading straight to the city centre.

The Quality Globe is housed in a very modern and futuristic looking yellow and white building which adjoins the Globe Arena, a space age shopping and conference centre. The medium sized lobby features a modern design, in keeping with the futuristic theme of the surrounding area. There is a lovely garden area in the centre, flanked by a row of internet terminals, to which all guests have access via their room key cards. The 287 spacious guest rooms are kept in good condition, their décor and furnishings inspired by the cultures of six different continents. The en suite bathrooms are also in good condition. The hotel's main restaurant - "Arena" - is located on the seventh floor and is actually built into the arena itself, providing excellent views down into the impressive stadium (indeed it is possible to combine dinner with an event being staged there, such as a concert or an ice hockey match.) There is also a more relaxed brasserie style restaurant - "Tabac" - on the ground floor.
