Lovely hotel: bed-room furniture a bit dusty but otherwise spotless. A fun visit to its ice-house for a drink is a must. Restauarant expensive but truly excellent. Buffet breakfast the best we have ever had! The hotel is less than 60 seconds walk from the Arlanda Express train link to Arlanda airport. We will definitely be visiting the country again.

British travellers will find Sweden in general, very expensive but you do get quality for your money. Recommend the various boat trips. One simply MUST visit the NK department store, about 10 minutes from the hotel.

Great location, very friendly staff would recomend without a doubt. 2 min walk from the bus terminal (bus that takes you to/from skavsta for ryanair flights). No need for a taxi, we took one by mistake and he charged the min fare of 1400 krona about £8 for a 2min ride. Hotel is very close to the shops and only a 15min stroll to the old par of town

Hotel is situated right next to Central Station and Bus Terminal as well as the underground and is therefore ideally situated for getting around Stockholm. It is spotlessly clean and the interior decor is typically Swedish, tastefuly modern and trendy. There is free internet access in the foyer for planning activities or future weather for during your stay.
The bedrooms, while not huge are a good size and are kept in a very good condition and very clean. There are no leisure facilities, hence I only gave the facilities a "3", but I spent a long weekend with my wife and two teenage children here and they loved it as well.
The buffet style breakfast is excellent with a wide variety of fresh fruit, muesli, cereals, dried fruits, cheeses, salads, cold meats, teas coffees, pastries and hot breakfasts as well as a selection of fruit juices.
Fill yuorself up here and it will do you a good part of the day until you need to refuel.
I have stayed here twice now and would certainly recommend it to couples, families or the business travellers as the hotel has excellent conference facilties and meeting areas in the foyer for "informal" business meetings.
The hotel also features the famous Absolut Ice Bar, although booking over the weekend is essential, and quite costly it would be a would be worthwhile for a different evening out.
Overall a great place to stay for a variety of reasons.

There is so much to see and do in Stockholm that it could not be covered here.
For getting around the city buy a travel pass (3 day costs £13 for adults and £6 for children) which gives access to buses, underground and I think some of the ferries.
Two absolute musts in my opinion are the Vasamuseet and Skansen, so much to see and take in at both. Skansen, a outdoor museum depicting traditional Swedish life over the years is wirth putting aside a whole day, it really is that good. There are numerous museums, many free, the National Gallery is fantastic if you like art. A trip on a pleasure boat around the archipelago is well worth it, but very cold in winter obviously and a day in Gamla Stan is always great, just looking at the architecture and browsing the various trendy shops. (Some are tacky and touristy and over priced but walking around is worth it just to take it all in.)
Changing of the Guard at the Royal Palace is very interesting and makes you realise how well drilled our Guardsmen are, this takes place each day at 12:15, check locally during your visit because it is not on every day during the winter and weekend times vary I think.
The Royal Palce itself is worthwhile although in mu opinion not as grand inside as it looks from outside, and please do not touch anything inside...the guides are very officious!!
Finally, I can recommend many of the coffee shops around Gamla Stan, but my particular favourite is Muuren on Vasterlanggaten which serves great meals, coffees and cakes. Enjoy!

The hotel is amazing, although the breakfast was fairly average for a 4 star hotel. Brilliant location next to the Arlanda Express train terminal and staff were very friendly even if they couldn't get our room sorted, we booked a twin and were put in a double then moved to another room, which already had someone in it!!

When you visit the Ice Bar in the hotel, you receive a discount if you're staying in the hotel, so be sure to tell them when you pay at the bar.
