The Nordic Sea Hotel is housed in a stylish modern building located next to the Central Station. The large lobby features minimalist Scandinavian furniture and is dominated by an imposing staircase that leads to the conference facilities on the first floor. The hotel offers four different guest room categories: from efficient Express rooms to spacious Deluxe rooms. The rooms vary substantially in size, but all are decorated in a traditional Scandinavian style, with wooden floors and warm colours. The hotel restaurant, which is located on the ground floor next to the lobby bar, offers international cuisine in a cosmopolitan atmosphere. The hotel also contains the Absolut Icebar - the world’s first permanent ice bar. The interior is kept at -5°C all year round and all of the interior fittings, including the glasses, are made of pure, clear ice from the Torne River in northern Sweden.
