The Hellsten Hotel is housed in a traditional Stockholm townhouse, which dates from 1898 and boasts a pale stone exterior, enhanced by large windows. Featuring a rough stone floor and distinctive metal sheets on the walls, the lobby boasts a distinctive atmosphere that combines the rustic and ultra-modern. Adjoining the entrance hall is a seating area with fashionable leather chairs and tables. Interior design and furnishings vary between the 78 guestrooms. Some feature various antiques, including Swedish farm antiques, while others have a distinct Asian touch. Some also have traditional porcelain stoves, in beautiful colours and forms. The en suite bathrooms are in excellent condition with black Greek imported slate tiling the walls and under-floor heating. A Continental buffet breakfast is offered every morning in a conservatory to the rear of the building.
